Sergey Shishkarev received the Order of Honor for his achievements at the Tokyo Olympics
During the Eastern Economic Forum, Igor Levitin, Aide to the President of the Russian Federation, presented Sergey Shishkarev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Delo Group and Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Handball Federation of Russia, with the Order of Honor.
The awarding took place at the "Sporty Far East" session, during which representatives of various sports, government officials and heads of public organizations discussed the prospects for the development of sports infrastructure, international cooperation, and support for sports.
"I would like to congratulate Sergey Nikolayevich Shishkarev – he does a lot for the development of sports, and present him with a state award for the development of handball," Igor Levitin said.
"Thank you very much, this is the Order of Honor for the achievements of our handball players at the Olympics in Tokyo. You know that silver medals after winning the Olympic Games in Rio is also a big, serious result. I appreciate it very much. We had a friendly team in Japan, which deserved both positive assessments and honorable awards", - said Sergey Shishkarev.
Sergey Shishkarev was awarded the Order of Honor for ensuring successful training of athletes who achieved high achievements at the XXXII Summer Olympic Games and the XVI Paralympic Summer Games in Tokyo.
