Delo Group and SPG collaborate in the framework of the Memorandum of cooperation in the sphere of container transportations and other areas of logistics and transport. The parties have already arranged forwarding of Chinese cargo equipment to Russian customers and are working on shipping of cars from China to Russia.
During the meeting Delo Group and SPG have agreed to work on warehousing logistics projects in Far East and North-West using Delo Group assets. In October 2023 in Qingdao delegation of the Russian company will present possible sites to select pilot ones for joint project. In future those sites will become a part of united logistics platform for arrangement of joint door-to-door transportations.
“Cooperation with one of the largest Chinese transport corporations allows us not only to increase the volume of transportations with that country, but also to gradually implement strategic business development projects in Russia and abroad”, said Sergei Shishkarev.
“We expect to create a joint platform for organizing door-to-door transportations and a unified system for controlling supply chains. In addition, we are interested in organizing multimodal transportations of containerized cargo between Russia, China, Central Asia and Middle East using Russian inland waterways, in particular the Volga River”, noticed Li Fengli.
During their stay in Russia the delegation of Shandong Port Group visited assets of Delo Group: TransContainer’s container terminal at Lagernaya station in Kazan, which has been reconstructed in the end of the previous year, and Global Ports’ terminal Petrolesport in Saint-Petersburg.
